A SMALL CELEBRATION
A tiny window into a real town.
Little Macc is an independent visitor guide to Macclesfield and nearby Bollington. The Little Macc project brings together local landmarks, food and drink, walks and music history in four playful miniature worlds.
Our aim is simple: help you find somewhere lovely to go, then give you the links to meet the real place. The models bring distant places together and add a little imagination. Follow the walking directions for real streets and crossings.

HOW PLACES MAKE THE MINIATURE
Local picks, with room to explore.
The Town view brings together ten landmarks. Eat and Drink each feature twenty places, chosen to offer a mix of cafés, restaurants, pubs and bars. These are curated selections in no particular order, rather than a scored ranking or a complete directory. Some venues appear in both.
The Joy Division trail is our independent, self-guided selection of six places connected to Ian Curtis and the band. It is not an organised tour.
THE REAL WORLD CHANGES
A little care with the details.
Guide entries link to venue, council, heritage and other published sources. Food and drink selections and music sources carry their own checked dates. A date records a source check; it does not mean we have visited or reviewed every place.
Weather comes from Open-Meteo’s modelled conditions and refreshes every thirty minutes. The events service checks selected Silk Museum, Town Council and Treacle Market calendars daily for the next seven days. If a source cannot refresh, the listings show that limitation.
For opening hours, prices, tickets and access, check the linked organiser or venue before you travel.
